Dear family and friends,
It's been a great week and full of miracles and tender mercies.
One of the biggest miracles is that we had an awesome amount of investigators in church yesterday. A came again, and so did her sister-in-law R, her niece D, and family friend C. It's great how they helped each other be excited about coming to church, and they all came! A is doing great, and tonight we are going to teach her husband as well. On Saturday we went over and made a cake with them for his birthday, which was fun. :)
V and her kids also came to church. B couldn't come because he was working. They are such a wonderful family and the other day when we taught them they were talking about the changes they've already seen in their lives and in their family and the peace they have felt. Moments like that is when I am reminded that it is all worth it and that this is the Lord's work.
G is doing well, except he has been pretty sick lately and didn't make it to church again. He is such an incredible person. I know he will be baptized and will be such an awesome member, but we're not quite sure when it will be. He wants to be "ready" to do it, and he knows that it requires a lifestyle change and it will be a process. So we have to be patient, which can be tough, but we don't want to force him to do anything either.
On Friday it rained a lot. Especially in the morning. Of course, I love rain and it was kinda fun at first, but after a while of being wet and cold and no one receiving us (and some people were kinda rude about it), it was kinda tough. But it was still a good day, and the afternoon was great as we visited A and then V. :)
This week will be J's baptism! He is very excited. The only reason he didn't get baptized this week is because he was going to be in Mexicali on Sunday for a marathon or something and we didn't want to wait to long between the baptism and confirmation. But he is so ready.
